Sharper. Clearer. Bolder.
/oxys / Ock-sis
An Ancient Greek word for ‘sharp’.
Also a combining form meaning:
‘sharp’, ‘acute’, ‘keen’, ‘pointed’.
And we thought
the word looked pretty cool too.
Our thing is coaching projects
with tangible outputs
On-line, live, coached workshops
Tangible projects for successful organisations.
Teams work on a project and emerge itching to
implement the outputs.
Master coaches use decades of experience, proven
toolkits and actively elevate your project.
Built by the team’s expertise, the outcome is fully
owned by the team that created it.
Enriched by the learning, participants also leave more
confident and capable.
The experience is affirming and joyful.

Wasting time, energy (and money) in fuzzy debates, rework and disappointing creative delivery? Chances are you are navigating without much of a map. A good chunk of upfront thinking will sort that and that is what our programmes do.
We have three separate Brand Strategy programmes, Brand Foundations, Competitive Edge Solo and Customer Focus Solo. Each underpins stronger thinking and delivers inspiring clarity.

“We are inspired by our reinvigorated brand, thanks to Daryl’s thorough approach, broadening our horizons but somehow adding greater focus and clarity. Our new approach keeps our heart and soul but brings new boldness to our identity - programmes and branding.”
"Daryl is a rare beast who not only can do, but can also teach. And she is great fun. Her brand track record on Ford, Dove, Cadbury, Milka and Vodafone is second to none. Holding thirty CEOs of major companies in the palm of her hand at a recent Aviva event, she convinced them that brands are supremely valuable commercial assets. And made them laugh out loud - both no mean feats."
"Daryl’s frameworks have become part of how I work. For any organisation serious about sharpening their approach to strategy and brand, Daryl is exactly what you need. She brings both the depth of expertise and the integrity to match. She will make you think differently, and more importantly, she'll make you think better."
FAQs
How much are the courses?
Course pricing is here.
Are the shorter courses shared?
Not at the moment. We’d consider it if you can find at least two other organisations to join you.
Can I do one of the shorter courses and switch to Brand Foundations?
Yes. You can join the next scheduled course and we will deduct the cost of the course you have taken from the cost of Brand Foundations.
Can absolute beginners join the course?
Yes as part of the team, but we cannot have a whole team of marketing novices. To be capable of delivering the work between sessions a reasonable amount or marketing experience and capability is needed, whether people have marketing in their title or not. We check this out in the calls you book with us before you buy.
Can we have a bespoke timetable?
Yes (ish). We are happy to discuss this for any of the programmes for single companies. No reasonable request refused! Just contact us
Can we do the courses F2F
Unlikely due to the availability of the master coach. It might be possible for the shorter courses. Just contact us
What does “Quality-Assured” mean?
The master coach knows what good looks like and will feedback and try very hard to evoke good work from the participating team. If the work they do is ultimately substandard, despite everyone’s best efforts, the master will fix it, providing a version based on their work that meets higher standards.
Can we take the course as training only and skip the project?
Yes. But we believe working on the tasks between sessions is the best way to learn. If you prefer a “Lite version”, you can nominate a theoretical project to work on, without the pressure of doing something to put into practise. If this is your preference, and you don’t want the quality assurance part, we offer a 20% discount on the price.
We’d love to work with you
Every brand and every situation is unique. That’s why we love working with energetic teams to sharpen and shine their brand. The formula is proven, but the outcome is always delightfully fresh. And the pride in the work and in the people that create it is as joyful for us as it is for them.
We’re not at all pushy – this has to work for us both.
